Bottle from a local bottle shop. Malty and resinous aroma with caramel malt, sticky pine resin, some toffee and a little alcohol. Flavour is sweetish with a bitter finish. Body is medium. I dig the resinous hops, some fruitiness would have been nice and it's a bit heavy (abv) for its own good.

Bottle. Fairly typical Dubbel aroma with brown malt, caramel, but not that yeasty. Some dried fruit, raisin. Flavour is sweet, hint of roast, light bitter. Body is medium. Drinkable.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is roasted malt with espresso, dark chocolate, coffee, hint of chalk. Flavour is fairly bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. A fine roasty bitter Porter that could have used a bit more body for its 9%.

33 cl. bottle @ the appartment in Kalenberg, bought @ Coop Oldemarkt. Dutch brewery #519. Hazy golden with a white head. Malty grainy aroma with some peach. Sweet taste with a light sweet finish. Solid tripel.

Opaque dark brown colour, small but stable beige frothy head, diminishing to a thin layer with yeast circles, fair lacing. Aroma light roasted malt, candy sugar, some treacle, soap, caramel. Taste light heavy to medium sweet, roasted malts, light coffee, caramel. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, roasty notes, sugary, nice.

Hazy deep golden colour, good frothy white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma sweet malt, yeast, light citrus, peach, honey notes, perfume hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, yeast, grain, spicy notes. Medium body,oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, malty notes, spicy notes, easy to drink, nice.

Hazy amberbrown colour, überhuge beige foamy head, receding slowly, thin creamy layer remains, patchy lacing. Aroma pale malt, toasted malt, candy sugar, light peach, overripe fruit. Taste medium bitter and light sweet, malty, fruity, Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, malty seetbitter aftertaste, alcohol notes, not well-balanced, aroma allright but taste on the bland site, hmm so so.

Fles op vakantie geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat caramelachtige geur. De smaak is moutig, caramel achtig en kruidig, drinkt lekker weg.
