Bottle split at the Hazlemere Movember and chops tasting, thanks to Mark 12/11/21. Light black with a decent beige covering. Nose is dried fruit esters, alcohol, cocoa dusting, sweet malts, brown, sugars, molasses. Taste comprises chocolate slice, dusty fruits, light spice, cocoa powder, brown bread,. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of alcohol. Ok for the style.

Bottle shared in Hazlemere - big thanks to the Bearded Avenger. Pours clear red-brown with a small, foamy white head. Medium sweet flavour, some damp carpet, earth, tangy berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more tangy berries. So so.

Bottle shared at high Wycombe tasting. Thanks to bearded. A dark black brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is slightly salty, green pewper, mellow roast, liquorice. Ok. Palate is light tart, moderate carbonation. Ok.

Nose is dusty brown fruits, spice, light roast, malty, toffee. Taste comprises dried fruits, brown bread, earthy bite, biscuit, toffee, light bourbon. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of booze.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a small, white head. Lovely aromatic, dusty hops. Medium body, grainy with a solid hoppiness. Super delicious and very far from a slick, commercial Pils. Way underrated. 031121
