Medium clear gold body and modest foam. Nice hops on the nose, slight orange zest, tangy. Taste is mellow juicy hops, soft citrus zest, ending a little thin but also with a bit of oiliness. Adequate, delivers what's promised, nothing more.

Medium clear copper body and modest foam. Soft caramel aroma maybe, even in the macro world this thing's aroma is weak. Taste is biscuit mostly, slight cornbread, but all too faint. Its only saving grace is some carbonation, or maybe that it's cheap.

Murky brown body and mimimal foam. Soft caramel aroma, slight molasses, all too faint. Taste is all chewy caramel, vague toffee, soft tart molasses. Ends full but it just seems jumbled, halfhearted at best.

Clear light gold body and fast gone foam. Weak musty sweetness aroma, could be hops but probably just sugar. Taste is more sweetness, slight grain, ending wet. A kolsch should be more than wet sugar, someone should send a memo.

Very light clear gold body and modest foam. Soft corn and sweet hops on the nose, not bad. Taste is more sweet hops, smooth but simple. Ends wet, lingering sweetness. Serviceable but forgettable.

Poured from the tap. Clear gold with small white head. Grain with feint candy berry. Hopefully that’s not a hose issue (keg was changed recently).

Bottle, LDB. Dark amber-brown, and bright. Medium head. Looks intense. This one is definitely chewy, lots of toffee and crystal malt and all that. Big bitterness, too. Very old school. There's some mellow orangey fruitiness, some pine, all that old timey stuff. Some alcohol in the finish, and that makes it a bit rough. But it's actually pretty smooth for a beer that's somewhere in between a TIPA and a Bigfooty BW.

Dark brown colour. Just a thin head. On the nose there's a bit of molassesy dark malt, and vague chocolatiness. It's fairly full on the body, again with a lot of molasses accent, moderate bitterness, and light chocolate in the finish.
