Complete rating from a whole can purchased at Patricks and payed for by my own hard earned money. Unclear pale golden body with a medium sized, dense white head. Carbonation like Champagne, small bubbles rising in line like stripes from the bottom of the glass. Looks nice and appealing. Aroma feels a bit like sour pale malt (fresh dough?) slightly sour citric fruit, some acidity in general and minerals. Flavor is fresh, fruity and acidic with pale malt, hint of dough, salt, citric fruit, balanced acidity and minimal yogurt. Well balance body and quite long lasting aftertaste with a salty and acidic finish. Would gladly purchase this again at another occasion as well made pure Berliner Weise without fruit or too much yogurt taste is not very common these days.

Sample @ Haandfest 2019. Looks great, almost clear pale golden body with a medium sized white head. Aroma is dominated by citric hops with some grass in the background. The flavor is smooth pale malt in a rather classic clean lager way with some citric fruitiness and slightly grassy bitterness. Feels refreshing and rather straight forward wit is probably the whole point with this one.

Can from Gulating. Unclear pale golden body with a dense, lacing white head. Fruity, light acidic aroma. Flavor is mild pale malt, hint of lemon and yeast. Medium to light bodied, actually decent for this low alcohol and rather short in aftertaste. Nice as a low alcohol alternative, otherwise pretty plain.

Tap @ Både &. Pitch black body with a nice, dense beige head. Nice and strong aroma of rich, dark, roasted black malt, coffee, dark chokolate, oak and smooth, warming alcohol. Flavor is sweet, dark, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and oak wit warming alcohol just like aroma. Balanced bitterness and long lasting, smooth, warming alcoholic finished. Very tasty, rich and balanced, actually quite easy drinkable but superb as a quite sipper.

Bottle from Gulating. Unclear golden body with a big, foamy white head. Strong and typical aroma for a Belgium wit with wheat, fruity yeast and coriander but a distinct oranges scent in addition. Flavor is also like a well made classic Wit added with oranges, oranges zest and some extra citric hops. Balanced body and nice aftertaste. A well made example of adding something nice to a classic style. Highly enjoyable and very refreshing.

On tap @ Røør. Slightly unclear golden body with a nice white head. Fresh and fruity aroma, tropical fruit mostly. Flavor is also mostly on the fruity side, tropical fruit, some citric fruit as well, feels a bit floral, moderate bitterness. Medium body and fruity aftertaste. Nice and refreshing but does not differ appreciably from the crowd. There's a few very similar beer to this around and I was expecting a bit more based on the talk of the town. Nice and easy.

Can. Unclear golden body with a huge, creamy white head. A bit weak in aroma, mild citric hops and not much that reminds me about a wheat. Flavor is light and refreshing fruity, citric fruit, moderate bitter, pale malt and actually some wheat as well and yeast. Medium body and aftertaste. Decent but nothing exiting. I like the combination of a hoppy wheat normally, but this one where a bit to litte of both.

Can from Meny. The low RB score on this made me skip trying this beer for a while, thinking golden ale is such a boring style anyway and I got a lot of more interesting beer to choose between these days. Then I just garbed it one day, just want to have a easy one for the thirst and there it was, a fresh batch in front of me at the grocery shop. It has a rather clear golden body with a nice foamy off-white head. Perhaps a bit dark for a golden ale, but still what I normally will call golden instead of pale golden if it was another kind of beer. Who said that golden had to be pale or yellow anyway? Aroma is nice and really fresh, citric fruit, grapefruit together with pale malt, bread and hint of caramel. Flavor has a nice balance between soft, pale malt, slightly smooth, light caramel, bread, fruity like aroma, slightly floral and nice bitterness. Medium and balanced in body and quite long lasting aftertaste with a pleasant bitterness. Thinking a bit about it, this is really spot on – it’s a golden ale with a fair amount of hops, both in fruitiness and bitterness. Forget about the session IPA style limitation, everyone knows what a golden ale is and this is a frigging golden ale with a nice hoppy twist but still a golden ale. Making something nice out of a boring beer style.

On tap @ Mungåt, Egersund. Unclear golden with a lacing white head. Fantastic aroma of citric fruit, oranges, mango and some tropical fruit. Flavor has a god balance of some malty sweetness, lots of fruit like aroma and good bitterness. Fine balanced body as well and long lasting aftertaste. A very nice and fruity IPA with real bitterness.

Bottle. Unclear golden body with a nice, stable head. Aroma is dominated by citric fruit but also distinct grapefruit, some fresh grass and light malt. Flavor is light pale malt, medium sweet, hint of caramel, lots of fruity hops, grapefruit, nice fruity bitterness and some grassy bitterness. Fine balanced body and long fruity and bitter aftertaste. Nice and thirst quenching kinda classic IPA. Highly enjoable.
