Established in 1991
Directly opposite the original location of the Inselbrauerei in 1989 the fourth generation, the qualified brewer Martina Feierling and her husband Wolfgang Rombach laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new house brewery. In doing so, they resumed the family tradition of brewing beer. They've been brewing organic beer since 1999, with a six-day fermentation and three or four weeks of lagering.

Tap in the Feierling Biergarten. Cloudy to milky golden, white lace. Fruity yeasty, grassy. Medium to full dry chewy body, juicy malt, citrus, gooseberry , grassy. Quite quaffable and pleasant.

Tap at the Feierling beergarden. Cloudy banana golden. Fresh, lime, hops, grainy, starchy. Full, chewy, some sweetness. This is drinkable.

Tap @ Feierling, Freiburg. Light hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity malt and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. Really good on a warm summer day. 100725

Finally just figured out this was a brewery I visited when I was in Germany about 6 years ago. From what I remember this beer was extremely malty with s great grassy herbal hoppiness. It’s was a great crisp pils I wish I could have it again.

Old rating - On tap at the brewery in Freiburg, pours hazy orange with a large white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, citrus, cloves & coriander. Medium body. Sweet finish

From tap, golden beer, small head. Aroma is sweet, malt, dough, hops. Taste is the same, sweet, dough, creamy. Not bad

Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma Had bisquit malt, floral hops, subtle herbs and fresh white bread. Over the palate came chewy pale malts, floral and mild fruity hops along with a lingering bitter finish.
