Barwa ciemna, piana szybka znika bez śladu. W aromacie wyraźne nuty kawowe, do tego dochodzą nuty palone. W smaku również kawa wyczuwalna oraz paloność aż lekko kwaśne. Nasycenie na niskim poziomie, goryczka na średnim.

Ciemno brązowa barwa, widać że mocno nasycone bo piana bardzo wysoka. W aromacie malinowa polewa do lodów. W smaku również mocno malinowe, przez co słodkie i zalepiające. Alkohol minimalnie wyczuwalny. Brakuje tutaj nut belgijskich. Piwo otrzymane jako gratis od Chmielobrodego, degustowane kilka dni po dacie ważności.

Bottle, 8%. The aroma starts off citric and later turns more coffeeish. Black colour. No head. The flavour is fruity and citric. There is some coffee. Acid. Salty finish. Why so citric? Must be from the coffee, but it's not my cup of tea (badum-tish)...

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small dark grey head. Clear aroma of coffee, with estery and sourish notes. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and touches of yeast and malt. Sourish notes, persisting into the aftertaste, which is quite roasty and estery. Low carbonation. Not bad but the sourish notes are quite aggressive.

Hazy amber brown, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, carbonation is quite modest. Smooth malts, reasonably light. Nice amounts of caramel, cream and a little toffee, very mildly bitterish. Smooth bourbon barrel, fruity bourbon, touches of vanilla and bitterish wood. Smooth finish. Nice. Rich and tasty, could be a tad sweeter but it's packed full of flavour. Mild tingly spicy linger.

Butelka 330ml (BB 03.2020). Aromat z nutami owocowymi i czerwonego wina a przynajmniej na początku bo po chwili zostaje tylko drewno beczki co też jest ok. Smak to już nuty drewniane z akcentami owocowymi i choć dominuje drewno to piwo jest dość słodkie. Generalnie przyjemny barley wine z nutami beczki choć szkoda, że nie po bourbonie.
