Slightly hazy brown-orange color, no head. Aroma of sweetish wort, rye and light hoppyness. Flat mouthfeel. Flavor has typical Karhupanimo’s sticky hoppyness, harsh and bready notes probably from rye and then some sweetish malty notes. Odd brew, like a bit unfermented.

Draught@Villi Wäinö. Poured hazy almost orange with a frothy beige white head. Aroma is weizenlike, yeast and wheat. Very smoth mouthfeel, flavor is spices, banana and lemon. Easy to drink, quite light. Something bout the aroma I didn´t fancy, as the beer got little warmer.

Almost clear pale amber color, decent off-white head. Aroma is very honeyish, a bit artifical, some fruity hoppyness. In the flavor honey is less dominant. Bitter hoppyness attacks especially in the finish. Long lingering bitterness. Honey is a bit useless component here, base pils is quite ok.

Clear golden color, decent white creamy head. Aroma has lemon grass and sweetish wort-like maltyness. Medium-bodied. Good malty backbone. A bit sweetish front then lemony hoppyness in the finish. Standard German-style pils, much more enjoyable than Karhupanimo’s Erikoinen -pils.

Draught at HBF 2010. Poured a dark red body. Sweet malty nose, slightly grainy. Sweet yoghurty malty taste, slightly roasty and caramelly. The maltiness is nice but not much to it overall.

Pours ruby color, thin white head. Aroma is malty, bit roasted. Flavour similar, roasted malt, too sweet. Not a very typical schwarzbier, not very interesting.
