Draught at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Near black,miniscule head. Slight coffee aroma. Dryish with sharp, rockhard mouthfeel and fairly light body. Sligt cocoa, mostly molasses, cinnamon and metal. Low bitterness. Rubbish.

Pours orange with a hazy head. Aroma has hints of banana and grass. Taste starts out smooth with banana notes but hops and citrusy fruitness kicks in fast. A bit light bodied, but otherwise nicely balanced.

Draught. Very dark colour, close to black with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some toasted notes as well as toffee, dark fruits and also some slight metallic notes as it warms up. Flavour is being quite similar, but also has some grainy notes. Quite watery and thin palate.

Clear amber color, steady creamy white head. Aroma is light berryish (lychee, strawberry) and herbal. Light body and a bit watery palate. Light fruity maltyness in the flavor leading to faint hoppy bitterness. Clean and certainly very unoffensive. Most likely ok with food, otherwise way too weak even for sessioning.

Hazy deep orange color, big creamy off-white head. Banana-wheaty nose with hints of citrus. Crisp carbonation. Banana weizen-like sweetness, but also nicely balanced citrus from Cascade. Citrusy finish - another ok beer from Karhupanimo.

Draught.Amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some burnt sugar, quite berryish along with some slight floral hops as well. Flavour is sweet malts, some berries, cellary and earthy notes along with a big grassy bitter dry finish. Does have the elements, but still feels like they are quite separate and not mixing too well with each other.

(Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki, 20110407) The beer poured orange and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, banana and pine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, pine, banana, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The hoppiness wasn’t overdone but it gave nice crispness to this beer instead.

Draught@Kaisla. Slightly hazy golden colour with small white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast and some mild floral and citrusy notes along with some herbs. Flavour is wheat, mild yeast, some citrusy and some mild grassy notes.

Almost pitch black, good creamy beige head, good lacing. Light roasty, metallic, chocolaty aroma. Light bodied. Light roastyness, very watery, beans, vegetables. Oh, expected more from beer brewed with Koff Porter yeast. This is way too watery, almost like a low alcohol beer.

(Draught at St. Urho’s Pub Stout and Porter days 2011) The beer poured almost black and clear. Its head was medium sized, a little bit sparse and light brown. Aroma had roastedness, hops and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roastedness, ash, hops, mildly liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. Good beer from Karhupanimo.
