All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera molto elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone ha una scarsa tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella norma. La forza gustativa è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca porta sentori di caramello, miele, liquirizia, frutta secca, agrumi, frutta passita e rabarbaro.

Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare nuvoloso. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è discreto. La forza gustativa è normale. La continuità gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, pane tostato, erbaceo e agrumi.

Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, cracker, biscotto, pane tostato, agrumi ed erbe aromatiche.

Bottle in Taormina, Sicily on balcony, watching Etna erupt, 2nd June 19. Pours black and a big head. Aroma is dark fruit, slight sour. Taste is dark fruit, caramel, not too sweet, some sourness to it, very good drinking.

750ml bottle in garden in Scopello, 29th May 19. Pours a dirty red brown. Aroma is malty, sweet bread. Taste is sweet, malts, red fruit. Quite nice

Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish, caramel malts, herbs, mild vinegar, sorrel, hay, oak. Taste is slightly sweet, sugar, caramel malts, hay, oak, almond essence, sorrel, herbs. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle at Le Majoliche, Malta. Surprise from Italy! I didn’t know they can actually make beer. And this is rather good one! Taste has some sweetness in it but also nice bitter palate. Nice.

Bottle at RBNG-14. darki brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, hop, coffee, chocolate, licorice. Flavour is roasted malt, hop, coffee, chocolate, licorice, apple, sourness. Full body. Nice beer.
