On tap at magic tree and vintage. Milk stout? Quite strong fer a milky. Yes, comes on like an impy fer sure. Yes feels like 6% but is over 7%. Big and blac. smells like decent milk stout but thats were the similarities end. Constantly wants to be an impy. Flat and the finsh is impy stout too, don’t let the style fool.

Sample at Vintage Estate. Murky reddish-orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, spices and hops. Light to medium body with flavors of Fruity Pebbles, coriander and yeast, with a touch of hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a citrusy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is oak vanilla and caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet caramel malt and a bit watery. A decent Irish ale from Rust Belt.

Deep brick read with minimal head. Candied caramel malts, dark fruits, and a bit of toasted malt in the aroma. Medium, syrupy body. Flavor has plenty of sweet malts, dark fruits, crackers, light nutty. Has the makings of something decent but does not follow through.

Sample at the Big Tap In on 04/21/2012. The beer is a clear dark orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops and malt. Medium to full body with a moderately bitter hops character that is offset by sweet caramel malt. The finish is hoppy with a short bitter aftertaste. Decent overall.
