Bottle from the hotel bar in Mystic. Pours a deep amber color with a smallish off white head. Lots of bready caramel with earthy citrus a mineral to balance, Passable craft beer, but a bit pedestrian.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a somewhat hazy yellow to golden orange color with a decent one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing that slid right on into the beer.
The smell had a nice English sweet maltiness running over top of some light bitter piney hops.
The taste was English malty sweet with that same bitter piney hoppiness running underneath to balance it a bit.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body and had a pretty good sessionability about it. The carbonation was suited more towards an English IPA than an American one (there was a certain subdued carbonation about it).
Overall, yup, sure is. This is an English IPA made by an American brewer and its definitely one of the better ones on the market in the U.S. I say get it if you like the EIPA style.

The appearance was a decent looking pale amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within seconds. Yup, it sure looked like that head didn’t want to last for any possible party that could occur (wow, I never saw any head dissipate so quickly). Anyways, there was some light lacing but that slid for the most part into the beer.
The smell tried to have a roasty yet somewhat nutty caramel maltiness but honestly, it was more just some cooked caramel notes about it.
The taste was a dry sweet caramel maltiness that had a dry sweet aftertaste. There was a decent dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat at/about a light to medium in body with a sessionability that wanted to occur, but I found myself not finding this one as sessionable as I was hoping to as it just seemed like it wanted to be sipped (weird, well, anyways).
Overall, hey uh...honestly not a bad Amber ale. However, I’m not exactly sure if I’d come back to this if actually given the chance as there’s just something about the palate that keeps me on the fence.

Bottle courtesy of Adam, Pince of Mogadishu, thank you sir. Bright, hazy golden amber color, tiny white edge head. Aroma of lightly burnt toast, caramel. Taste starts with sweet caramel then a bitter finish. Pretty plain.

Bottle. Pours reddish amber with off white head. Nose and taste of toasted grain, old grapefruit peel, dry grass, caramel malt and biscuit. Dry toast/grain finish. Lighter medium body.

Bottle at home in Salisbury - aged a few years. Pours cloudy brown with a tan foam head. Simple malt character with light tangy fruit notes, toasty bread and faint earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with some and dry toast, along with caramel and basic bread. OK. Worked well in my chili recipe.

Aroma: The nose is subtle and decent, some floral hops, caramel malts, and doughy notes
Appearance: The pour is a mostly clear orange color with a small off-white head
Flavor: The taste is much the same, balanced and a little dull, mild hops for the style
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a decent mouthfeel, and a pretty good drinkability
Overall Impression: This was a decent beer, but really, this was an unimpressive IPA. It is drinkable, and not really anything more than that.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark brown liquid with a small beige head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of roasted malt with an intense dark fruit character. Flavor is more roasted malt with notes of prunes and molasses. Very lightly carbonated. Full-bodied and complex . Very slight smokiness in finish.
