dark orange, yeast sediments on the bottle. Thick offwhite head, that disappears quite qucikly. sweet malty and honey aroma, rounded by a potent dose of bitterness. flavor is slightly fruity, sweet malty, mild. An easy-drinking pilsner that has a more craftbrew feeling to it, than the ordinary tuborg and carlsberg. non-beer geeks will probably like this one a lot. personally i find it a bit boring, but the taste is fine, and makes one think of good craftmanship. this one had been stored for a while before drinking, but well before the end date.

(Bottle at Timo A’s tasting, thanks) Dark brown and cloudy. Tan coloured and medium sized head. Hops and malts in bit musty aroma. Full bodied palate with medium carbonation. Malts, hops, sweetness, lightly molasses and quite lightly bitterness in taste. Malty aftertaste. Weak DIPA.

as i opened the bottle the beerlevel inside the bottle started rising real fast, i just barely managed to move it onto my dinnerplate (empty fortunately) before a foam geyser came out and started to fill my plate with beer. soom the plate was more full than what could be concieved as a low-risk situation for my desk, so i had to move beer on plate to the kitchen sink. after a minute of panic i could pour a glass. hazy brown, large light brown head. aroma is nicely gently spiced, with some sweet malts basing the spicy notes. among the spices i get licorice, could be anise. flavor is spicy, bitter from alc, ever so slightly sour, caramel, faint malty sweetness. faint vegetable weird flavor too.

Thanks Patrik! Golden-amber and sparkling. Blackberry, blueberry nose with toasty caramel accents. Hints of berries, toast and some nice floral notes. This is an interesting beer. Distinctiveness makes it fun.

Bottle. A sliggtly hazy, golden beer with a small, creamy, off-white head. Sweetish, belgo-spiced nose. Anise and orange? Sweet, slightly spiced flavor with some bitternesss, finishing sweet and lightly bitter. Full-bodied, a little warming, and sweetish sticky. A quite nice belgian style Christmas beer, but far from something gorgeous. (090430)

Bottled. A dark amber beer with lots of sediment floating around under a thin tan head. The aroma is of peas on a lightly malty background. The flavor is sweet with ntoes of peas, straw, malt, carrots, and caramel - a bat combination.
