Description
In 2014, Sam Richardson, Matt Monahan and Andrew Burman founded Other Half Brewing Company, a local brewery in New York City with a simple mission: to create beers that they wanted to drink from a company that they wanted to be a part of. Their vision was to build a passionate team that brewed great beers in the state of New York—done so with effort and thoughtfulness—to represent the “Other Half” of the industry. Today, Other Half craft beers in their Brooklyn brewery and are dedicated to collaborating with breweries both in New York as well as across the world in an effort to constantly move the industry forward while elevating the craft. The Other Half team believes that local breweries play an important role in their communities which is why they partner with these other likeminded brewers and brands in local nabes across the country and the world—but always return to their home state of New York and their Brooklyn taproom.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: thick pale cardboard orange haziness with a two finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did some light lace appeared
Aroma: floral, citrusy, papaya, mango, pineapple, peach, melon and some danky/hemp hop notes; super light clean malts far down in there
Flavor: intertwines the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet to juicy sweet quality; finishes papaya, peachy and danky/hemp-like hoppiness
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper; good smoothness, nice low carb, low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nicely done NEDIPA very worthy of returning to.

Appearance: semi-bright orange haziness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mango/papaya/pine/pineapple-y to passion fruity hop tones; clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet semi-juicy to bittersweet character; finishes like mixed fruits with a touch of pine bitterness
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also some light tickles of hop assertiveness, nothing overbearing - just noticeable
Overall: for the most part, this one fared nice enough to come back to.

Aromas are citrus, resin, malt, cut grass, wet grain and a little pineapple. Flavors are similar to nose but on the mild side with a little hop burn at the end. Good but nothing special or unusual.

Pint can, canned 03/31/2025 partagée avec Tderoeck, merci.
