Bottle from Boise Co-op. Clear, dark amber with tight, creamy head. Funky aroma, make, jujubes, licorice, dish soap. Taste is also a melange of flavors, hard candy, butterscotch, hand soap, floral notes. The sweet malt centers it all, bitter notes. Comes together eventually. Name is appropriate. Smoked malts come forward as the beer warms Bamberg -style.

22 oz bottle poured. Enjoyed while watching the world series, and I told myself I would pour myself up a beer for every awesome play an ex Mariners player pulls off, and since CT lead off the home half with a bomb, he got me going with a bomber early. A cloudy golden pour. Distinct grain aroma. Flavor is a semi rich bready malt. A crisp front to this, but doesn't have a super light feel for the style. Maltier than the typical, I would suggest. Cool finish, and this drinks refreshing. Nice and easy. No complaints with this, especially with the sub $5 bomber price. Don't really understand the less than satisfied reviews thus far. Good stuff for my taste.
