Description
Raphaël Mettler and his team have been brewing beer with a passion since 2003, and their enthusiasm is eminently contagious: the Trois Dames beers from Ste-Croix challenge the taste buds and flatter the eye, and that is exactly what makes them original. We believe in making a top-notch product, the reason why we carefully select fresh ingredients.

Pale hazy yellow color, big cloudy head. Hops and ginger in the nose. Crisp witbier. Very spicey: ginger and coriander with some honey. Quite Christmasy! Spicey aftertaste.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden with lively head. Perfumy nose with lots of coriander. Sweet, soft and light bodied. Fresh and orangey, very drinkable. Some late orange peel bitterness. A witbier with life and character!

Bottled, thanks Bov! Muddy dark golden with fair sized head. Bitter from nose to finish, but in a abalanced relaxed way. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Pleasant but short flavour of vanilla and orange. Resiny finish.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy mahogany colour, fair sized beige head. Hoppy lychee aroma. Light bodied with a fresh and aromatic hoppiness. The hop bitterness sets in early and lasts very long. Very direct in an American way, yet very drinkable.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Really black with small, off-white head. Roasty coffee aroma. Dry and light bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Salty and ashy with some salmiak. Well drinkable, but the flavour is short.

Dark, almost opaque, brown color, small off-white head. Iron, vegetables, toasted malts in the nose. Thin. Toasted malty, a bit sweetish, some vegetables. Not much bitterness. Boring stout.

Orange color with floating yeast particles, huge cloudy white head - very lively beer. Spicey, peppery, almost glueish aroma - typical saison. Dry, fizzy carbonation, peppery with some fruity sweetness. Spicey aftertaste. Solid saison. Excellent brewery!

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Golden colour, huge foamy white head. Aroma is very fruity, spicy and mildly yeasty. Also some mild sourness and earthyness is lurking in there. Flavour is very fruity, mildly herbal and some earthy and yeastyness. Wellbalanced and nice session beer. Seems to be a very solid brewer.

Deep orange color, steady off-white head. Strong flowery-apricot aroma - similar to some Ölands beers! Flavor is par to aroma: hayish, citrusy hoppy, lacks some on malt side, but nicely drinkable brew. There is also some sweetish fruityness. As far as I have had Swiss micros - very untypical Swiss beer. Good. Thanks Bov!
