On tap at the brewpub in Spandau on 7th September 2018. Hazy amber with shallow disappearing foam and no lacing. Intensely malty aroma. A malty liquid pass and nutty finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a medium body.

Vom Faß im Brauhaus in Spandau. - Dunkles Kastanienbraun, trüb, schöner Schaum. - In der Nase (zu)viel Hefe, unreifer Geruch, Süße aber wenig Dunkelmalz. - Antrunk füllig und weich hefig mit aromatischem Dunkelmalz und kremiger Bitterschokolade. Milder Hopfen mit leichten Noten von süßer Orange. Mild rezent, vollmundig. Abgang schön kaffeebitter und leicht grasig hopfenherb mit deutlichen „grünen“ Noten. - Sympathisch frischer, füllig dunkelmalziger aber (noch?) unausgereifter Bock.

„Spandauer Dunkel“ (Stw. 13 %), vom Faß im Brauhaus in Spandau (für den Herbstbock Maronator war ich leider zu früh). - Mittelrotbraun, gut trüb. - In der Nase sehr mildes Dunkelmalz und noch milderer, zart hopfenwürziger Hopfen. - Antrunk schlank und leicht toastmalzig mit frischer, leicht zitroniger Hopfenherbe. Mild rezent, hefig weich, ein klein wenig wäßrig. Im Abgang sehr milde, weich zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. Schwach dumpfer Nachtrunk. - Sehr leichtes, mild hefiges, angenehmes aber unspektakuläres Dunkles.

On tap at Brauhaus Spandau. Comes with a hazy, dark golden color and a small white head. The nose is malty, yeast, some citrus, some bread. Taste is rather sweet, like a Weissbier. Yeast and herbal aromas, hints of citrus. Like a cross-over of Pils and Weissbier.
