(Bottle 33 cl) Comes as "Avilys Lithuanian Honey Beer". Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose. Medium body with unclean fruity notes and a metallic edge. Bitter finish. Yet another "Haus der 131 Biere" bier. I bet this is brewed in Belgium - Strubbe. 150107

Bottled. Comes as Lithuanian Honey Beer. A pale copper colored beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is very sweet and candy like with notes of caramel and flowers. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and yeast, very Belgian in its expression, and far from Lithuanian. A bit too sweet for my liking.

Bottled. Golden orange beer with a very lively carbonation and a huge, lasting off-white head. Malt, citrus, cloves and spices in the aroma. Quite sweet. Flavor is sweet, with a touch of honey, and citrus and cloves. Sweet, fizzy mouthfeel and a sweet, lightly bitter and metallic finish. Too much sweetness, but not much honey to be found. Not that I miss it... If I didn’t know what beer it was, I would have guessed it was from Belgium. (060627)

Sampled on draught at the Avilys brewpub Vilnius, Lithuania. Cloudy yellow and quite a bit more hoppy than the other two beers on offer i.e. the Korio and Medaus also a little sweet. Pleasant light refreshing beer but whilst a good beer my least favourite of the three.

On Draught Avilys Brew pub, Vilnius Lithuania. Golden and very tasty honey beer little bit wheaty as well with a definate haze, I agree with the previous person a did have some grassy notes but whilst not as nice as their Korio it was a good beer all the same!

Very dark brown, nice toffee, caramely notes said it is brewed with ginseng but not something that I particularly noticed. A very drinkable decent dark beer that slipped down well in a cracking pub/restaurant.
