About
In the winter of 2016, the two Augsburgers, Enzo Frauenschuh and Matthias Gruber, founded FrauGruber Brewing (FRAUenschuh + GRUBER = FrauGruber) and brewed their first beers as Gipsy brewers in spring 2017 in the Old Factory in Gundelfingen. It quickly became clear that all the ideas, experiments and further developments would be very difficult to implement without an own brewery and the freedom that goes with it. In order to grow quantitatively and conceptually, FrauGruber had to grow. We managed to realize our dream of having our own brewery in January 2020. So we came to our goal of creating a kind of "way of life" and building a community with which we can share the enthusiasm and passion for beer. Our aim is to test and live the incredible variety of beer, to act sustainably and especially to give beer a higher value.

Can from Kvickly Odder @ Home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of light malt, fruity hops, tropical fruit, peach, pineapple. Flavor is sweet, little malt, fruity hops, juicy tropical fruit, peach, pieapple. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet fruity finish. 251025

25 October 2025. At “Gentse Biervereniging Kelderschatten” (Baracuna). Cheers to the whole crew!

Dank grapes, melon, kiwi, lime zest. Sweetish grape & kiwi, sourish lime. Bitter grassy hops, bit peppery, citrus pith, warming gin-like alcohol. Average carbonation. Decent, but feels messier than I'm used to from FG.

Can from Beerdome. Ripe-ish fruit, sugary orange, tropical notes, stone fruit, mango. Bit sweetish with a mild to medium bitterness. Above medium body. On the sweet side.

16oz can pours a yellow gold, light haze, soft, white head. Nose has grain, honey and brioche, some nice lemon notes. Good tannins in the mouth, malt and grass and brioche. Good bite. Medium bodied. Nicely made.
