Tasting @ Koelschtrinker. Smooth and mild. A bit more alcoholic than the "normal" Alptraum. Smooth and alcoholic, not so nice round, the dessert-wine from the barrels is much more present. Long intense dessert-wine woody aftertaste. Interesting melange.

Tasting @ Koelschtrinker. BBE 17.8.2084(!). Smooth mild intense roasty beginning. Thick with herbal parts, wood and dark malt. Very easy to drink for the 12%, liquorice, roast. Very deep and intense, sessionable and rich. Quite dry, moderate bitter, fantastic!

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Clear, very dark reddish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, malty and slightly fruity aroma of molasses, raisins, prunes, vanilla and some oak. Quite sweet, malty, slightly fruity and a bit spicy taste of molasses, caramel, raisins, prunes, some vanilla and hints of oak, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly boozy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle. Slightly hazy, dark reddish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of molasses, raisins, prunes, vanilla and some oak. Quite sweet, malty and a bit fruity taste of molasses, raisins, prunes, vanilla and some oak, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly boozy and a bit woody-dry finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice, balance is better compared to the regular version.
