Dark brownish red, pours a head that cannot be contained - I believe I lost about one third of the beer, it just disappeared into foamy oblivion - inviting aroma of roasted malt and unidentifiable dark fruit - bitterness, lactose - peat smoked malt comes through the chocolate and plays with it pretty well - the alcohol is quite present considering the ABV - not a bad beer, and one of the best I've had by Middle Ages, which, sadly, isn't saying much.
