Today, our beers are available on draught and in six packs, four packs, and bombers across the state. And Mike and Amanda have been joined by a cast of characters that make magic happen at Bristol every day. Collectively, we are a family of smart, friendly people who really love beer. We love the glorious flavor. We love the global tradition and history. We love the art and science of brewing. And the pure contentment of enjoying a pint at the end of the day.
In 2013, we moved lock, stock, and barrel into a former elementary school, where we happily ignore school rules by brewing and serving beer in the classrooms, including our onsite pub. Built in 1916, the building’s hardwood floors and brick walls, former gym and student artwork radiate charm and a hip but super-friendly vibe.

Sample from a bottle. Huge, fluffy, tan head. The nose is strong vanilla, oak, caramel, and some cocoa. Sweet and boozy, with a light roast bitterness. Medium body, velvety, creamy, and thick. This is a nice, flavorful, and candylike beer.

22 oz. bottle. Dark, amber-brown color, with a small, beige, foamy head. The nose is toffee, bittersweet chocolate, licorice, some burnt toast, and pecans. Sweet and very malty, with a pretty good, earthy bitterness that lingers, subdued, at the back of the throat for a long while. Medium body, silky, fairly smooth, and just a little astringent. This is a fun, malty, and lightly smoky beer.

On tap at the brewery. Opaque brown, with a medium, tan head. The nose is caramel, earth, pine, and light licorice. Fairly sweet and malty, with a lot of bitterness. Heavy body, lightly astringent, syrupy, with a clean finish. This is pretty nice barley wine. Overly bitter, and a little thin, but not bad.
