Bomber pours a deep gold with off white head. The aroma is light making it tough to read. I get faint sweetness, roastiness and earthiness. The taste begins with vague bitterness. Before too long mild malt sweetness wells up. By midway pine hop bitterness builds toward the finish and is met by roasted malts and faint earthiness.

Bomber pours clear copper with thin off white head. I smell a quick pulse of grapefruit hops before a mixture of buttered bread, caramel, toasty malts and ginger bread cookies join the aromatic fun. The taste starts both malty and bitter. I get roasted malts, toffee, bread, a hint of caramel along with grapefruit hop and some pine hop bitterness. The hop bitterness grows as the taste progresses and it becomes a bit watery too. Toward the finish roasty and caramelized maltiness try and compete with the hops but come up short in the end. This is a fairly malty IPA with nice interest and lingering grapefruit hop bitterness into the after taste.

Bottle from Safeway, Port Angeles; nose is grassy hops, grain, with a little honey sweetness; Gold with a big white, longlasting head; flavor is sweet and a little wheaty; with a little tiny bit of hop bitterness. Would be a good lawnmower beer so you didnβt have to drink Bud, Miller, or Coors!
