Description
We find that the best moments in life — the most memorable — are when we spend time in the company of those who are most important to us. Our beer and spirits are made for these moments.

It all started for us in 1997 when Brett VanderKamp believed that his hometown and the brewing industry were due for a shakeup. And so, New Holland Brewing Company was born in Holland, Michigan near the shores of Lake Michigan.

Today, New Holland is recognized as one of the leading innovators in the revolution of craft brewing and distilling. With nearly 500 team members, New Holland’s craft beer and spirits are sold across the country, and around the globe. Our retail presence continues to grow with two full-service restaurants, a spirits tasting room, two brick-and-mortar stores and an online store.

We look forward to finding moments to connect and enhancing the lives of people around the world.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-orange color, white head. Aroma is sweet with wheat, yeast, and spice. Flavor is citrus with wheat. Pretty well balanced taste, though nothing spectacular. Nice beer to consume on a warm day.

Sampled at the Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest (2008). Pours a hazy golden color. The aroma is full of spices, grains. The flavor is extremely spicy, lemon, grass, malts. The spices almost completely overpower the rest of the beverage, which is a shame.

Hmm... Full Circle label. I guess I’m supposed to rate it here? Light amber pour with medium head and unexpectedly.... floaties! Crisp and slightly tart grainy aroma. Grainy, with some bitterness and definite notes of burning hair. Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville.

Advertised as a IIPA at the Bocktown. Clear and slightly darker than the ubiquitous pale lager. Creamy head. Turns tea froth after a few minutes. Perfumery on the olfactory. Aroma of hops and of course, piny spruce hops. thick mouth coating syrupy palate. Way too much alky for this lager lover. Virtually no carbonation. Comes across like any other barley wine. Finish is bitter medicine like a DPA. On style.

FAIL!!! Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville (I think). Cola brown pour with faint lacing and no head. Aroma of cream, coffee, chocolate and brown sugar. So far so good. Big oakiness in the taste, a hint of whisky, and definite notes of... rotting cabbage! Fairly strong too. Foul, and in a bad way. Drain pour today... I’ll re-rate next year’s batch.
