Tap at the Brewery. Pours unclear dark amber, huge white head, that is not very stable. Smell is mild malty, very soft hops. Taste is very easy drinkable, gentle and soft. Creamy, some biscuit malts. Mild hop notes. Light, but present bitterness. Easy drinkable, yet enough taste. Very well done, one of their better ones. Both mustard seeds and elderflower aren’t blindly recogniwable to me, which I like, because I had both in beers I did not like before. If that’s the idea about the beer though ( to taste these) they should amp it up a notch. I would prefer it like this, though !

Bottle. Pours rather dark, clear amber, with a regular sized white head. Smell is weak, mild crispy notes. Taste is surprisingly bitter for 27 IBU. Than comes a crunchy, very nice ambermalty grainy taste. bread, cornflakes, grains come to mind. aftertaste is mildly sharp, a note of alcohol lingers. Not a perfect beer, but the maltyness here is very nice, and for sure one of the better beerstorming’s !

500 ml. bottle sampled @ home. Purchased @ brewery. No BBF. Near clear amber, creamy tanned head. Nose is all sweet cloves and cardamom, faint thin sparkling base. Poor thin metallic caramel beer, very sparkling watery, heavy, cardamon & cloves are very forward, they are nice but the beer lacks everything necessary in order to carry them, washing powder & metallic aftertaste unpleasant plastic. You need a good base beer in order to carry these spaces, usual story here.
