Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! 500 (?) ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG V. This beer is a bock brewed with “eekhoorntjesbrood” / ceps mushrooms. BBF 13.02.2016. Pours a quite murky brown. Nose is murky overripe dough, cacao powder & spread, honey, overly carbonated, strange leaves, sugar, spoiled spices. Taste & body are fizzy, sparkling, bit watery. Nutty taste, fizzy dull dough, light oxidation, minerals, spoiled nuts, cacao powder, wet leaves,… Not very successful for me, questionable base, this is less mushrooms and more just odd sweetness, wet leaves etc. Interesting idea but didn’t really work for me.

Clear amber beer, creamy beige to yellow head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: spicy, sweet, funky, sugary, some honey, dry dusty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: spicy start, sweet, more spices, some caramel. Aftertaste: alcohol, caramel, very spicy, sugary, soapy, weird. I don't like this, not balanced enough. Both too sweet and too spicy.

Sampled @ Ratebeer Belgian Winter Gathering 2016. A bit unclear pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste indeed remember me of passion fruit. Quite pleasant actually, nice fruity flavor. Hard to describe but I really like it. Nice one.

Sampled @ Ratebeer Belgian Winter Gathering 2016. Hazy orangy color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste both are a bit weird. Especially the aroma. Taste some jam, sweetish, slightly herbs or spices. Decent body and carbonation. Interesting beer.

Draft @ Beerstorming.
