(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Haus der 131 Biere version - probably license brewed in Belgium. Pours a beautiful, warm, clear, reddish brown with a handsome, creamy, beige head. Lightly sweet, chocolatey nose. Medium body, soft, roasted malt notes, not overly burned. Subdued bitterness. Quite nice actually. 150807

33 cL bottle. Pours deep brown with a reddish hue with a slight light brown and creamy head. Roasted malty aroma. Malty flavour, lacks darker notes. Thin finish, not watery though.

Dark brown color. Bad smell, sewage and dirty water. Quite weak body, some caramel flavor and again dirty water flavor too. Horrible.

"Star Bottle," not sure which one to put it under, since I hear they are the same beer, but I’ll just put it here. Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is skunky right off the bat. Banana, yeast, and spice. Has a medium, cremy body. Flavor is spices, yeast, malt, wheat, and some clove. Uh, it’s OK.

Bottled (German brewn... Haus der 131 Biere...). Dark ruby reddish/almost black colour, with small brown head. Aroma is malts and sweetness. Flavour is acidic, malty and then quite full of nothing. Could do as a dunkel or dark lager...

(33 cl bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden) Dark color, might be black, but hard to see in the light setting of the pub. Huge bubble tan head. High CO2 level, pours over the edge of the glass fairly easy. Fresh malty, sort of lager, scent. A bit acid, but not much. Acid taste. Weak mouth feel and very low bitterness. A rather week stout.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Vaguely malty nose. Medium body with notes of roasted malt and perhaps a touch of metal. Bitter, hoppy finish. I bet this is brewed in Germany or Belgium. 280606

Light amber color, light fuggles nose. Soft hoppy body with oranges and apples. Dry moderately bitter finish. Ho-hum. 6/2/7/3/13 Update: This is now in can. It is not even close to what I had before and is not recommended at all. New rating combines the two ratings

Bottled, brewed in Germany
Almost opaque dark brown, decent expresso head. Crisp, even lemony aroma. Roasted flavor, quite thin, foamed mouthfeel. Some hops pop up in the finish. Reminds me about Hartwall Porter.

Bottle. Beautiful tan head with good duration. Dark brown - almost black. Not much taste tho. Hints of coffee and chocolate.
