A reddish brown bock with a thick collapsing moka head. In aroma, a nutty malt, with light solvent esters, quite nice. In mouth, a smooth sweet nutty malt with light peated notes, light alcohol, a bit woody, quite nice. Hey, not too shabby for a Greenland beer!

(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with faint notes of wheat but a touch of caramel, cloves and shy banana-fruity notes and alcohol in the background. Sweet flavour with a light bitter edge, medium bodied with a very smooth mouthfeel. Toast-malty base with a light wheat-character, caramel and a whiff of banana; alcohol and phenolic spices are getting quite present towards the shy fruity finish. Extremely smooth brew that lacks balance and fruit-character. 24.IX.07

500 ml bottle. Amber body with a light off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and a bit spicy. Flavor is sweet malty, spicy, yeast and a hint of caramel. Perfectly drinkable, but a bit one dimensional.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a small off-white head. The aroma has notes of matl and caramel, but also a skunky note - has it been light struck? The flavor has notes of malt, caramel, and metal.

Golden with a small white head. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Malty flavour with that cheap sour grain note.

03/11 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! New country count. It poured red to brown body with medium sized ocher head. Nice malty caramel and fruity ale yeast in aroma. Slightly sweet flavor, caramelly, very pleasant, but BB date passed 7 months ago, which is definitely felt here. Simple, with medium body. Finishes shortly with some darker fruits. It’s fine in this shape as well, but if only it was fresh.
