(Draught at L'Ermitage Taproom, Brussels, 18 Oct 2024) Dark brown colour with no head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of oak wood, cherries, coffee and vinegar. Malty, fruity, tart taste with coffee, sour cherries, chocolate, wood, vinegar and funky yeast. Mild roasty bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Complex, interesting and quite tasty. Very nice.

Bottle from LCB, mine at 5.7%. Light misted gold with big soft white head. Fragrant aroma of jasmin, flora, straw and a light spice. Taste has a jasmin tea but there are good beer elements behind it unlike most modern flavoured pale ales. Sweet cracker malt and cereal with a slight yeasty tang and stone fruits come through. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, quarter-drying. Well made.

Can from LCB, 1 month past BBE, this one at 8%. Semi hazed orange-gold with nice consistent white foam. It's quite citric and tropical with orange, mango, passionfruit coming through with some light dank notes. Taste has those fruity notes, some funk, pine, something in-between mint and aniseed. Fairly sweet but has a nice bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, smooth with a light chewy edge.
