Associated Venue: Flying Goose Brew Pub and Grille
Established in 1996
Current owner, Tom Mills, has owned and operated The Flying Goose since its start in 1993. In 1996, he gave what was known originally as The Four Corners Grille a unique identity by creating a micro-brewery. Mills put many years into rebuilding what is now The Flying Goose Brew Pub & Grille, a casual, family friendly restaurant and brewery now managed by his three kids Brett, Jordan, and Brianna. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment to all those who walk through our doors. Whether it be for a quick bite, a cold brew, or a place for family and friends to gather, we extend our “home” to you.
Over the years we have learned what is most important to us and the values we practice as a small business. We focus on sourcing locally as much as possible and are thankful for the wonderful relationships created with local purveyors. We became NH’s 1st solar powered brewery in 2011 and continue to find ways to use clean energy as a sustainable business.
The memories, laughs and relationships created here are what we live for! We have been fortunate to work with and serve many incredible people through the years. We are grateful for our amazing “Goose Family” and are thankful for the opportunity to serve you.

Bottle from Bert’s Slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that persists. Tart grape jam on the nose with a touch of earth funk and oak. The flavor follows the aroma quite well. Vinous with a grape jelly sweetness. Light to moderate funk with just a touch of lactic tartness. Pretty decent wild ale.

Bottle from Bert’s Solid black color smallish bubbly tan head. Roast and rich chocolate on the nose countered by some light pitted fruit and hints of oak. The flavor holds the roasty chocolate with a big earthy bitterness. Light fruit and a touch of wood tannin but not a whole lot of wood or bourbon flavor. Full body sweet stick creamy mouthfeel with a light carbonation. Pretty nice sipper but frankly way overpriced!

Bottle from Bert’s Slightly hazy light golden color with a smallish but long lasting bubbly white head. Solid earthy funk with a bit of grape jam sweetness. Bits of bitter aspirin in the finish. Not as dry as I would expect from a saison especially one with Brett, but tasty just the same.

Sample from the Granite State Brewers Festival 7/25/15 Big bready caramel maltiness, maybe a hint too sweet. Big earthy citrus and pine to counter. Nice IPA, tone down the malt a little and its world class!

Snifter shows a cloudy gold with thick sheets of head down the sides. Awesome aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, pine and even a hint of onion. After smellsing it I was eager to sip this. The flavor did not disappoint. Starts off with bright citrus flavors and ends with pine and grassy hops. Texture is dry with a well endowed body. I had to remind my self to sip becuase it is just under 10% ,abv and its hidden well. Fine job from the brewer on this bad boy!

Draft @ FG. Golden hazy amber color with lasting head retention. Aroma is toasted grain, caramel and hints of toffee. The flavor is pretty much the same with a light yeast note in the body. Lighter body with a toasted grain texture. Pretty easy to drink and very tame overall.
