Bottle from Malting Pot. Very dark brown pour with a fizzy tan head. Notes of roasted malts, salted caramel, dark cherries, vanilla, butterscotch, subtle toasted coconut and brandy. Medium to full body, medium carbonation and a chocolatey bitter-sweet finish.

Black, small tan not too lasting head. Aroma is of roasted malt, some chocolate and metal. Taste is medium- sweet chocolate, roasted malt, bit burnt notes, less metallic than in the nose, medium bitterness, quite dry, lasting bitter roasty aftertaste. Medium to light bodied, soft+ carbonation, watery.

Hazy, amber colored, strong soapy white head, good lasting. Aroma is of some caramel and malt, but mostly strong spicy phenolic yeast and some Brett notes. Taste is medium sweet malt and caramel, crystal, some toast, spicy phenolic yeast again with some Bretty character, medium bitterness with some harshness, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation. While drinkable, I don’t think this is its real face...

Bottle at Ale&Hop, RBESG 2016. Hazy amber brown with an off white ring head. Aroma of tart dark fruits, caramel, malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [08-07-2016]

Tap or bottle @ La Vache Folle. Clear golden coloured, white head. Aroma is yeasty, earthy, bit of pine and forest smells. Flavour is earthy, pine needles, resin. Straightforward ipa.

Dark amber color with an off-White head, good retention. Aroma has notes of caramel with a good presence of resin hops. Flavor has a good bitterness, light citrus with orange peel notes. Mild bitterness in the final with good maltiness.
