Cask handpull at The Star Inn, Bath, Somerset (the highlight pub wise of a trip around the good beer guide pubs in Bath). An amber colour beer, with a small off white head. A very malty beer, quite fruity. Slightly bitter finish.

On gravity at Bristol beer festival 16/3/2013. Pale amber with a slight, off-white head. Cereal malts, some leafy hops and a touch of hedgerow fruit, before a decent bitter finish. A quaffable bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/3/2013. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Berry fruits, caramel and chewy malts, with a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at Coeur de Lion, Bath. Pours clear amber with a fine, creamy tan head. Dried berries and toasty malts in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, berries, light dry toffee, mellow leafy bitterness. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced in the finish, lightly sugary malts, toasty leaves, grapes, cherries and berries. Simple but wonderfully sessionable beer.

Cask at Star Inn, Bath. Pours clear brown with a fine, creamy head. Sweet, ripening berry aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary fruits, light toffee, mellow bread and leaves. Light in body with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, light dried fruits, berries, plums, mellow leafy bitterness. Pleasant stuff.

50cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear orange copper color, looks like applejuice. Not much aroma other than malts. Taste malts, lightly buttery, lightly fruity, bitter. Low to medium body, soft carbonation.
