Clear amber color, steady creamy off-white head. Leafy and nutty hoppy aroma. Smooth mouthfeel (no suprises here). Watery, mildly nutty hoppy flavor. Boring and thin, but at least slightly hoppy.

500ml can consumed during a rock concert at The Borderline (Little Glitches, The Whip and Nizlopi), London. Golden brown body. Missing head. Hard to smell anything at all, perhaps a grassy brush. Slightly caramel notes in taste and ending with a bitter touch. Smooth (01.02.2007).

Cask handpull at Cherry Pickers, Folkestone. Deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. I haven’t had this in years! Some dark caramel on nose. bit thin of flavour in mouth, some dark toffee, some choc. Finish has no pronounced hop, some dryness. Traditional mild, not huge on flavour, but in good condition which shows that they must get through the milds here. Could do with more flavour and body, but it’s fine for what it is.

14.9 oz draft can, 3.8% ABV. Clear light copper color. The head was a creamy silky off white. It was an un-yielding half inch thick plank of white cheddar cheese with chunks of sheeting draped around the glass. The aroma was light with sweet malts and pale malts. Initial taste made me think I was drinking water at first. Thin body. Then some biscuit and sort of grainy malts entered. About midway a sprinkling of noble hops peaked out and grew to mediocre levels by the finish.

Can. Off-white nitro-head on top of a golden body. Caramel aroma and flavor with some sour notes in the aroma. Medium body. A bit boring but not bad at all. Just didn’t inspire me. (060819)

On tap. Poured into a shaker. Very nice micro head with staying power and lacing that coats the inside of the glass throughout the entire session. Mild malt aromas. Creamy with almost tea-like flavors from front to back and into a lasting finish.

Fabulous. My can says it has a widget in it... couldn’t find it which means it’s probably in my drink... Don’t know how I feel about that. When all the widget action dies down there is a nice amber colored body with a foamy one finger head. Aromas are sweet and appley with some caramel back notes and a little bit of a floral character. Other than all of that, it’s pretty plain. The flavor of it is watery but there is a nice creamy/silky feel to the foam. I just can’t get excited about anything here except the widget.
