Can. Pours unclear hazel with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma is strong on the bourbon and oak tannins, toffee, caramel, alcoholic werthers. Flavor is quite sweet and light plus bitter. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Could be a bit more balanced, but pretty #BIL

5oz pour in The Brewhouse, San Juan Capistrano on 27th July 2023. Golden/amber body, clean and clear (I did expect a Double Bock style twist with 'ator' at the rear of it's name, but no such luck). Citrus front to both the aroma and taste, some base maltiness for balance, liked it after the initial disappointment of it's name exciting me!

Draft pours with a deep dark colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up dark chocolate, milk chocolate, thin dark roasted malts blended into dark roasted coffee. Nice. The taste delivers smooth subtle mild notes of mildly sweetened dark and milk chocolate goodness flowing into sweetened dark roasted coffee. To midway a thin molasses sweetness bullies it's way meekly into the experience. Easy drinking stout. Nice.

On tap at Abnormal, pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out tangy, dank hops, light citrus, and biscuity malt. Flavour is tropical and bitter, with intense tropical fruit, citrus peel, dankness and bitter pine cones. Bright, bitter, and dank. Excellent.

16oz can on 8th January 2023; Lost Pier Cafe, Laguna Beach as the sun set over the sea. Poured into a plastic beaker it looked happy enough, clean and clear golden body, wispy white collar. Nice hoppy aroma and taste, leaning towards a citrus feel but also having a slightly winey and piney trace or two. Liked it, even if I got a bit cold as the sun went down.

Willebecher glass draft at Chapman Crafted Beer in Orange, California. The pour is a clear light yellow golden with a smallish foamy white head that falls quickly. The aroma is super fresh fruit and floral, bursting with the orange and lemon peel, citrus floral hop and cereal grain. The taste is bright and fresh with the fruit peel and citra hop notes layered over a straight-forward cereal grain lager. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and the peel bitter dry finish. The beer hit the spot, like a lager Witbier mash up.

4 oz. pour on tap at Stout Burgers & Beers, Studio City. It's a beautiful clear amber-red with nice finger-width fluffy nitro head with good retention and no lacing. Aroma is moderately strong sweet malt and cocoa. Taste is strong earth, cocoa and malt. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with finish as taste. Overall, beautiful beer with decent strength but not hugely complex. Effects of nitro experienced.

Half-pint, on-tap in Project Social, Dana Point on 18th February 2022. Clean amber body, off-white head. The Cascade hops do their thing and bring Grapefruit esters and flavours to the brew, some light malt action calms them down a bit, but this is a hoppy one for sure.
