2nd January 2022, O'Sheas tasting room, Laguna Niguel, California. 5oz pour, part of a flight of four. Light haze to the golden body, short lived white head. Hoppy, bitter and herbal in nature, citrus leanings too.

Large can at the little cafe on Aliso Beach, New Years Eve watching the Sun set for the last time in 2021. Mini-haze to the golden pour, white head, plastic cup. Citrussy nose and taste with an Orange front from the hop combination. Not too bitter, engaged or not! Enjoyed it.

Definitely nutty, toasty, lots of classic brown ale vibes, clean tight finish, caramely.

Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is some biscuit malt. Not much there but I don't ever get much aroma from this style. Flavor is malt and grain but super thin and watery with a little sweetness left on the tongue. Not one of the better Oktoberfest's I've had this year. A little to thin all around.
