5oz pour on a flight in The Brewhouse, SJC on 18th June 2024. Nearly clear golden pour, white crown. What is a 'Cold IPA'? well this one had a strange lemon citrus front with a white wine like undertone, thought it fine!

4oz. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: loads of nice vanilla and chocolate, some American oak. Taste: dark fruits, booze is definitely here, lots of bourbon, some vanilla. Overall: I was expecting much more based on the fantastic aroma. Still quite good, though.

Pour is a dark but clean brown with a large tan head. Aroma is a slight roasted malt with an even slighter chocolate. Flavor is a little more bitter bakers chocolate with a minor nutty finish. A little watery but everything was still there you're looking for.

From Good Times Oakland, no dating on the can.

It pours a cola colour with a fine layer of tan foam, good lacing, not bad head retention.

The smell is plenty of cocoa nibs, vanilla, mild roast, on the sweet side. Nice.

The taste is cocoa nibs, vanilla, not so sweet taste wise, bit of a bitter bite in the finish. Alcohol is there and provides some warming.

High end of medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel.

This is good overall.

Pours up on tap at tipsy where it exhibits a murky mahogany colored body that supports an off white head. The aroma offers up smooth smelling molasses and brown sugar dusted plums as well as modest boozy heat and subtle bourbon notes. The taste delivers smooth slick sweet rich boozy sweet malts moving into thin molasses and plum to date sweet dark fruity esters. Wow. Smooth slick sticky sipper with mild alcohol warming. Solid sipper.
