An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with light fruity notes. The flavor is sweet with notes of coriander, spices, and nutmeg. The end is quite dry.

Blond color. Light hoppy aroma (not bad…) but too simple flavor, quite poor, on the dry side.

Bottled. Clear golden. Funky yeasty orangey aroma. Sweet and lively, complex and refreshing.

Cloudy orange color; nice head, persistent, and lace. First impression in the aroma is the yeast; then the hop, and a delicate fruitness (oranges, apricots…). Excellent Strong Ale, with a good malt, and the bitterness is hitting immediately (a real Brut ;o), turning at the end to an almond kernels bitterness; some bitter orange peel. The bitterness is maybe too strong, but this original beer is really interesting.

Treble blonfd body. White head, fully diminishing. Bitter flavour. Fizzy mouthfeel.

A clear brown beer with a small light brown head. The aroma is sweet caramel with notes of raisins and plums. The flavor is sweet with notes of raisins, plums, and wood. It is very sparkling before a dry hoppy end sets in. The flavor and dryness in the end is a bit more than I'd prefer, but it is still a really good beer.

A clear yellow beer with a beutiful head. The aroma is lovely; sweet, citrus, nuts, and peach. The flavor is very dry, fresh, and very carbonated. It has some notes of caramel and a dry hoppy yet sweet aftertaste, that lingers for a long time.

Dark brown colour. Cloudy. Aroma is peachy, with semi-strong alcohol. Fruity-spicy-yeasty character. The fruitiness is lighter stuff, the spices vague and undefinable, the yeast moderate. Texture is slightly syrupy, but this is cut by a decent fizziness for an ale of this strength. Alcohol stays relatively away from the palate. Finishes sweet, malty. Decent beer, but it didn't really give me anything to hold on to - no reason in particular to have it again.

Slight gushing for, after all, very little head; very dark brown with red shine. Woody, vinous, fruity (plums, figs, brambles) and a bit of walnuts. Taste is of a very tannine-rich bitterness, covering truckloads of malt. Little chocolate (beer will be called Dark Chocolate on the American market). Full-bodied at the edge of syrupy. Long & sweet aftertaste where chocolate and mocca finally emerge. I liked the Malheur Brut already. This is a new treat for putting next to it for your Holidays wishlist.

Bottled, 2000 vintage. Cloudy orange. Toffee aroma. Yeasty and lightly vinous. Soft and mild with intense, flowery bitter finish.
