1 February 2020. At Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Kevin, Niels & Cynthia! Clear golden, lasting, thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit peel, apple peel, mango, pineapple. Taste has sweetish pineapple, bitter core of pine, dry apple peel, yeasty with a spicy touch. Dry, piney & bit grassy hoppy finish, yeasty with lingering unripe yellow fruit. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Rather classic in its execution but it does the job.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 21.03.2020, at One Pint Pub, 20200310) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, honey, grass and spiciness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. A balanced strong brew with fruity and spicy notes.

Pours clear, dark brown, with a shade of red. Small white head. Smell is mild vanilla, BE yeast, caramel, spices. Earthy and leaves. Taste is full, sweet, caramelly, mild roastyness. Strong alcoholic touch, yet no real boozyness. Rather thin, very mild vanilla, but no recognizable oak. Medium carbo, easy drinkin for the ABV. Pretty nice !
