Draught at the Ji-Beer Festa in Hiroshima, 2012. Cloudy orange-gold. Caramel and hop aroma. Seems like English style hops, maybe Fuggles. Juicy caramel Nice nose. Flavor reveals a slightly astringent and earthy grain—from extract? Slightly funky and bitter. Earthy. Some peach and caramel. Not bad, but needs some refining.

Draught at 2012 GJBF Osaka. Thick, cloudy orange color with lace. Hoppy aroma with Belgian yeast. Relatively authentic yeast character. Yeasty, spicy flavor, coriander, peach, very bitter. By far the best beer yet from them. Quite nice.

Draught at 2012 GJBF Osaka. Smells like rotten rice left in the cooker for a few days in summer. Rather nasty. Dark amber with lace. Flavor is rotten rice, old caramel, really bad. Tastes rotten.

Draught at Osaka BBS 2012. Nose of cassis, mint, and chocolate. Black with lace. Flavor is similar, there is a lot of mint-menthol in here, from the hops I guess, too much. Interesting, but really not all that well done. Ok body. Not really much like a stout.

Draught at the Osaka Minami International Beer Festa, 2011. Thin black, almost no head. Aroma of strange malts, some hops, a bit of roast. Thin, watery flavor, weak malt, harsh, some syrup. Really amateurish and terrible.

Draught at the Osaka Minami International Beer Festa, 2011. Nice, pretty enough amber, thin head. Nice citrus hops aroma that works quite well with the dirty, earthy malt. The flavor, however, seems like extract: sweet, under-attenuated, harsh malt astringency. The hops come out decently but the malt just doesn’t work at all.

Draught at the Osaka Best Beer Selection 2011. A Belgian wheat with lots of yuzu added, plus a bit of “silk powder!” Cloudy gold with a fine head. Aroma is dominated by the yuzu, but with some wheat as well. Nice citrus flavor with wheat and grains, plus some honey. Pretty nice stuff—the best I’ve had so far from them—really good fruit, plus almost beer-like enough!

Draught at the Tanabata Beer Festa Toyama, 2010. Glowing electric blue color. Aroma of 7-Up, and moreso, the Japanese soda called Ramune. Fruity, citrus flavor with a bit of menthol and a big, long, earthy bitterness. Weird. Very weird.

Tap in Kyoto, 2015. A very different beer. Nicely fruity, a bit or roasted malt, caramel, lemon, orange, pine. Grapefruit. A solid, slightly old school IPA that has been brought up to par. Draught at the Tanabata Beer Festa Toyama, 2010. 5/2/5/3/8 Cloudy dark brown with a nice, fine, low head. Earthy hop aroma, strong hops. Very earthy flavor with chocolate. Quite bitter, and a bit funky and harsh. Got boring as the glass went on.
