I saw online Nara Brewing had released a 7th Anniversary beer so I popped by Kyoto Isetan to see if it was in stock and I got lucky!
Nara Faker Holic 5.5%
Hazy IPA 25 IBU
not terribly hazy in appearance but it has a nice thick dense head of off-white foam and a tutti-frutti a touch juicy aroma. Medium to full smooth body with a modern tropical juicy hop profile.
Solid stuff but not quite full on haze.

Beautiful chestnut mahogany color. Excellent smoked cheese and smoked meat nose. . Medium full bodied. Modestly bitterness with slightly underlying sweetness. Very well executed

Clear gold with little foam beyond a brief white fizziness. Bready malts with hints of honey and then a herbal hop bite.

Smash IPA 6% 38 IBU
Crystal clear gold with thick soapy white foam that lingers and gives some Belgian lace. Fruity with mild herbal spicy notes in the nose while the full bodied brew gives white pepper, pine and mild guava.
Very crushable and enjoyable. Nara nails another IPA.

Lovely Amber red with fast-dissipating beige foam and a sweet smoked aroma. Medium to full bodied and super smooth.
This is a delicious smoked beer. Definitely try it if you see it and you like smoked beers.

Hops: Zappa, simcoe, mosaic, Citra
Malts: pale ale malt, Pilsner malt
Lovely Gold in color with thick light beige foam that vanished fast. This beer is blessed with a wonderfully bright fruity hop bouquet. Medium to light bodied but exceedingly crisp and easy drinking.
Terrifically well balanced modern IPA. Definitely, try it if you see it.
