Description
Yvan DE BAETS and Bernard LEBOUCQ meet each other in 2002, during the second edition of the Zinnekparade. Bernard had created the now famous ZINNEBIR for this unique Brussels event. However, it took another five years for BRASSERIE DE LA SENNE to settle effectively in the capital. In the meantime, the brewing activities were continued at friendly breweries. This bohemian existence came to an end on December 22, 2010, the date of the very first 100% Brussels brew!

Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a thick white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of freshly cut grass and marzipan. Flavour of steel and grassy hops. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A crisp, grassy lager with a very good body and mouthfeel for the ABV.

Bottle at home. Almost clear golden with big white head. Indeed some caramel, lemon cake, a touch of vanilla and fresh oak, allspice, dough. Then there's a lasting bitter hoppy finish with grass and dusty spices. Medium sweet and bitter, crisp medium body. Not very outspoken, but very balanced and drinkeable blond. I like it.
