Bottle. Clear golden colour, small white head. Aroma is not so exciting, bit of caramel sweetness, bit vegetal. Taste is ok, but again unexciting. Bit of sweetness, cream soda maybe, sherbert, but doesn't quite seem right. Hey, it's alright, but I don't ever want to drink it again.

Bottle. Dark brown colour, small golden head. Aroma is lightly roasty, not so distinct. Not unpleasant in any way though. Taste is interesting, quite dry, little bit of smoke maybe, roasty, maybe some cola, lightly bitter. Not overly strong taste though. Maybe a bit underpowered, but nice enough.

Bottle from Kyoto Isetan. Cloudy blond colour. Aroma is malty, quite sweet, bit weird, bit of fruit. Taste is bit bland. Strange creaminess, sweetcorn maybe. Lightly fruity. Not horrible, but not so nice.

Draft at Hopseed, Kyoto. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of cat piss, lemon and light cardboard. Flavour is above light sweet and moderate bitter. Above light bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Hop Seed, Kyoto. Poured a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, like citrus, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, light fruity, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at the Beer Bar Jive, Kyoto. Poured a clear medium to dark amber colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, yeasty, light toffee, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, light fruity, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330 ml bottle from Kyoto Station. Pours muddy orange with some beige foam on the top. Looking like a homebrew. Nose is malty, light bitterness. Tastes messy, yeast abounds, light bitterness. Pretty much homebrew level at best, have gotten a lot better homebrews.

330 ml bottle, picked up @ Kyoto station. Dark brown pour, light brown head, actually stays there for a bit. Nose os quite nondescript, light roast and burnt malts. Tastes simple, roasted and dry, no sweetness and very little character. Meh, drinkable but well, not that exciting at all.

Bottle from Kyoto Station, pours clear golden, some thin but well formed head with small white bubbles. Nose is grassy-grainy, crisp maltiness there with some wet cardboard. Tastes malty, grainy and light bitterness in the finish. Not bad as a session beer, not watery at least. Not really exciting either.
