500ml can. Bright, clear gold with lace. Nose is orange, coriander, and some of the farmhouse funk that was in Ruta. Dry, crisp, with wheat and orange, some coriander and a lightly soft sweetness that is quite nice. Seems very similar to Ruta but the additives kind of cover the overt funkiness.

500ml can. Bright gold with lace. Funky nose, grassy, rustic, bready, a bit oxidized. Flavor is big time farmhouse yeast, bready, a bit oxidized. I can see how they were aiming at something Lithuanian. It's not the same, but it gives you a sense of what those farmhouse ales are like--the not so good ones, anyhow.

Spiced barleywine to finish (maybe) 2024. Cinnamon, touch of vanilla, some cherry, lots of sweetness. A bit boozy. Some Christmas cake and dried fruits

Santa is on his way! Merry Christmas everyone! Vertere Christmas Beer 2024 Barleywine w/Cinnamon, Vanilla 10% Holy cinnamon Batman! BIG cinnamon aroma on a malty caramel base. It has a matte orange color with light tan foam. Full bodied and smooth with lots of heat. I think this would definitely benefit from some aging.

Vertere Christmas Beer 2024 Blueberry Sour w/lemon, Vanilla 7.5% A purple-red color with light pinkish white foam. It has a blueberry vanilla aroma. Full bodied with a sharp tart berry flavor though the finish gives you acidic lemon then sweet vanilla. A very interesting brew.

[33cl can from Beer52, brewed for them by Fierce Beer at 5.5% ABV.] A glossy black pour with a billowing chocolate brown coloured head; chocolate aroma; rich roasted malt taste with a good roasted bitterness; then a long finish with milk chocolate, sustained bitterness, and some warm in the stomach. Excellent.
