On tap at CBM Koenji. Dark orange gold color with a nice fluffy off white head. Big aromas of grapefruit, tangerine and light grain. Great balance between malts and hops. Sweet and then bitter on the finish. Ruby red grapefruit and tangelo sweetness but with a dry bitter finish. Slight caramel notes as well. Body is a little thin though lively carbonation is there. Finish is a little over carbonated. Nice beer though and looking forward to this single hop series from romantic village. --- Beer merged from original tick of Grand Slam IPA Summit Ver. on 09 Jun 2015 at 09:00 - Score: 6

Tap at CBM JImbocho. Passion fruit, apricot and yeast with a hints of clove and cardamom. Watery mouthfeel with a fair amount of carbonation: like an orangina. Slightly sour and sweet on the palate. The wheat gives it a chewiness. Wild strawberry and slight banana flavor is evident as it settles into room temperature. Flavor is a little lighter than the initial aroma, but still a really solid saison. Nice finish with a bit of spice and pepper present. Solid effort! --- Beer merged from original tick of Saison on 09 Jun 2015 at 09:02 - Score: 7

Tap at Dig. Clear, medium gold color. Nice hoppy nose, bread, grass. Rather sweet malt flavor, biscuits, ok hopping, light bitterness and lemon. Crisp and clean. Decent and drinkable.

On tap at Beer Keyaki, Spring 2014. A cloudy copper pour with a beige head. A very floral hoppy nose, like I am in a hothouse. The taste is clean, bitter, earthy & floral with a palate cleansing bitterness.

On tap at Beer Keyaki, Spring 2014. A clear deep copper pour with a filmy beige head. Very clear. A pretty balanced fruity malty aroma. Full bodied with a nice smooth mouthfeel. The taste is quite balanced and less hop forward than most IPAs but solid, I like it.

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. A nice dark beer with a thick tan head that dissipates & clings to the glass. Sweet chocolatey aroma. Medium to full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. The taste is bitter chocolate with a bit of a tang. Nice.

Difficult to decipher the bottle, hope this is the right entry, going on style and abv. Bar code: 4560347050299, best before 13.11.16. Bottle @ finca, brought by C&E from japan. Hazy orange coloured, with an off-white head. Nose is hoppy, tropical, a bit malty. Flavour is malty, tropical fruits, bit of pine. Fairly bitter, low-med carbonation. Finish is fairly bitter and dry. Good stuff.
