Bottle bought in Hong Kong in November 2016. Black with a huge tan head. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt and some notes of vanilla. More roasted malt in the taste, also chocolate and hints of vanilla. The mouthfeel was creamy and the body fairly light. The finish was on the dry side.

Bottle shared at Mechazilla. Thanks Brandon! Pours a deep brown with a small beige head that lingers. Beautiful floral sichuan pepper nose and light chocolate malts. Amazingly floral. Lots of brewers use sansho, but I’m really digging the nose on this. Light bodied and very porter like. Amazingly drinkable and hides the abv wonderfully. Clean and chocolately with more of that floral aspect. Light peppery notes on the finish. Very well done.

Bottle shared at Mechazilla. Thanks Brandon! Pours a clearish gold with 2 fingers of white head. Citrus, pineapple and mango dominate the nose. Mouthfeel is a little grainy with some zesty, pithy bitterness. Finish is bitter and citrusy. Not a bad effort at all. Bottle shared at Mechazilla. Thanks Brandon! Deep amber with a finger of off-white foam. Caramel aromas with a touch of floral notes in the background. Malt-forward on the palate. Light diacetyl maybe? Finish is dry. Fairly well-balanced but a little to British in malt for me. Dark amber malt character. A bit of dtz with caramel and grapefruit. Decent. But not outstanding

Bottle bought at Craftissimo, Hong Kong, November 2015. Hazy orange with a white head. Fresh and hoppy with grass, citrus and light cookies. Medium bitter and with a medium body.

Bottle at The Roundhouse, Hong Kong. Hazy light amber with a small head. This was a special one with smoke, herbs, light grapefruit and some bread. Also some ash. Drinkable but not my kind of beer to be honest.

Bottle at Kowloon Taproom. Hazy golden/orange with a white head. Fresh aroma and taste of hops, grapefruit, grass and some pineapple. Also cookies. Relaxed and easy to drink. The finish was medium bitter.
