Description
Rockmill has been created not for the purpose of making good beers. It has been created to make only unique and original beers, brew in style, which are desired and impatiently awaited not only by beer experts but also by common beerlovers. Beers, which purpose is to surprise you and dissappear from your glass completely unseen, leaving you astounded that it’s already empty. We brew and will be brewing those and only those kinds of beer.

From the bootlegger, in Paris. Correct oatmeal stout, not the impression to have almonds, maybe that it is giving this smooth, roasted oat, 08.06.19, at Epalinges.

0.50l can. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and nuts. Pours pitch black color with medium sized soapy light brown head and nice lacing. Taste starts with light sweet chocolate and rich roasted malt, following is coffeeish and ashy with earthy tones, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is dry and grassy bitter. Light body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Smooth as a Polished rock…

Draft at Hopito, Warsaw.
The beer poured light yellow in color, thin white head.
Light bodied, some campfire smoke in the back, but fairly shy. Not sure what style this was supposed to be. Not a grodziskie, not a hefeweizen either

Pretty much a clear dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly darkish tan head. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation, fine for this brew. Much like the Armanagac, this comes over as quite barleywine like. Soft rich toffee caramel malts, just a touch of chocolate. The Rum barrel delivers rich ripe fruits with that vibrant rum tangy richness. Very mild alcohol spice. Soft barrel induced vanilla. Smooth finish leaves a long and rich ripe fruity rum linger. Rich but such easy drinking.

Pretty much a clear dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head that doesn't last long at all. Smooth palate, fairly light, modest fine carbonation. Soft malts that feel more barleywine than imperial porter. Tangy caramel - toffee but not that sweet. The Armanagac barrel brings good soft brandy soaked ripe fruits, some date and mild prune. Soft barrel induced vanilla. Smooth finis. Comes together very well. A soft and rich brew that goes down far too easy.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy red colour, small head. Aroma of red currant and rhubarb. Tart with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Tart rhubarb and unripe red currant on slender body. Low bitterness. Refreshing.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham, 21/03/2026.
Black topped with a khaki head that thins to a swirl.
Nose is full on smoke, burnt rubber, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises smoked malts, better than the nose, cocoa sprinkle, dried fruit rinds, medicinal elements, peated tones.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a kick of booze.
Not a disaster but a little awkward! It grew on me and rose from 7.1 to 7.3.
