0.33l bottle. Aroma is earthy, leathery and roasted malty. Pours almost black color with few foamy bubbles around the rim and no lacing. Taste starts with rich roasted malt, chocolate and liquor, following is heavily peated and leathery, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is average bitter. Full body, oily texture and flat carbonation in palate. Peat or die…

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has tons of bitter grapefruit juice, earthiness, and some chalk. Flavour is bitter and chalky, with a muddled malt base, some hops in there I guess, and bitter grapefruit. Harsh, unintegrated; very very bad.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is full of diacetyl, leaving the dry wheat and gentle smoke in the background. Flavour is dry, with diacetyl, dry wheat, and a hint of smoke. Gross bitter grod.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours clear pale blonde with a white head. Light smoke and wheaty malts on the nose. Flavour has very light smoke and dry wheaty malts; a bit mineralic. Needs more smoke.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours murky yellow with a white head. Dank oils and stonefruit on the nose. Flavour has stale grass and pine, stonefruit pits. Something is wrong here.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a clear blonde with a Merlin white head. Aroma has a strange perfumey hop character, plasticy phenols, and a touch of smoke. Flavour is egregious, with lots of plasticy phenols, a touch of floral hops, and a hint of smoke. Something went seriously wrong here. Awful.

On tap at WBF 2025, pours a deep dark mahogany, no head. Nose has plenty of rum barrel without being too overbearing, some sticky sugars, and dark fruits. Flavour is a bit thin-bodied but lacks some major rum character; the malts don’t seem there though. Sticky, fruity, sugary. Lacking a bit in substance.
