On tap at Little Island, pours a red-tinged black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out briny notes, like I'm drinking an oyster stout, with light toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium toasted malt, a hint of cocoa, and again those briny notes. Decently constructed, but nothing special.

The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, milky lactose, chocolate, roasty liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Self pour at brewpub. Black beer with thin creamy head. Nose of dark chocolate and dry cocoa.
Smooth light mouthfeel, minimal taste. Finish is bitter with late fruity sourness. Understated stout but all beers in Singapore are served very cold so more flavour may appear as it warms. But who lets a beer get warm in Singapore?

Self pour at brewpub. Golden bronze beer with foamy white head. Slight malty nose. Good body, light carbonation. Clean refreshing taste. Toasty malt in the finish. Surprised to see this is 5.7% as it feels very light. Nice well balanced ale.

Self pour at brewpub. Clear golden beer with foamy white head. Light carbonation. Some lacing. Nose of caramel malt and ripe citrus fruit. Full bodied and bitter. Finish starts earthy and bitter then some light malt and fruit makes an appearance. Lingering grapefruit right at the end. This is a good solid drinkable APA. Very nice.

Self pour at brewpub. Pale amber beer with thin film of suds on top. Light carbonation. Light nose of grain and lemon. Light body, refreshing. Finish is bitter, malty with late citric sourness. Not bad, easy to drink in balmy Singapore.
