Growler from Low Cost Beer. Appearance - murky orange to brown with a foamy white head, most of which quickly disappears. Nose - cake and pine. Dried orange as well as fresh notes of grapefruit and its pith. Taste - more cake, light resin, then dried orange and grapefruit pith again. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and, fairly dry and bitter on the finish. Overall - enjoyed this one!

Half-pint, draught at the Mash Paddle brewery and Tap Room. Shared with Finn. Off-white head leaving clingy lacing on the glass, hazy golden body. Herbal hops on the nose, grassy. Peachy flavours with mild malty sweetness beneath. Ends hop fruity, on the sweet side of bittersweet. Satisfying. (Bermondsey, London 10.02.2023).

Can from Beers of Europe. Cloudy amber brown color, large tan head. Aroma of caramel and cereal. Taste starts with sweet burnt caramel, dark fruit, bitter fruity finish. Neither a West Coast nor a New England style IPA.

Can from Beers of Europe. Very lively but not quite a gusher. Opaque dark brown color, massive beige head that settles slowly. Pine aroma on a roasty coffee background. Taste has pine resin, vanilla, dark chocolate, licorice. Interesting. Black IPA territory.

Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours murky orange with a thin white head. Aromas of light grape, sweet tropical fruit. Taste is more of the same. Sweet finish.
