On tap at Blind Enthusiasm. Pours clear gold with a white head. Crisp dry grass, peppery bite, and cracker malts on the nose. Flavour has crisp dry grass, peppery Saaz, cracker malts, and some woody dryness. The wood does detract from some of the qualities I like a Czech lager, but the beer as a whole comes together well.

On tap at Trial & Ale. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Herbal malts and skunked malts on the nose. Flavour has tons of bitter grassy notes and a thin, cracker malt base. Poor pilsner.

500ml (thx, Brian!) @ SF.
Aroma: roasty, some little sweetness, a bit fruity.
Taste: along the same lines, no barrel ageing presence.
Overall: I now must ask - what was the point to make something like this? Useless beer.

Medium brown. Medium head. Thin and light aroma, comes across with a bit of caramel. On the palate, it's light, sweet. Honestly it needs some bitterness. And also, barrel-aging such a light beer doesn't work. There's nothing to carry the barrel anywhere, and how long was this in the barrel? The base goes nowhere, nor does the treatment.

500mL bottle, pours a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is dry, with tons of dry bready malt, not much else—no barrel character detectable. Flavour is extremely drywith bready malt and little else. No bourbon nor any barrel character. Little depth whatsoever. Pointless creation.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Dark brown with small off white head. Mild fruity porter with super feint barrel hint as if it was aged next to the barrel, not in it. Average.

500mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Wisps of malts on the nose. Flavour has thin malts, very dry. No hints of bourbon whatsoever. Completely useless.

Pretty flavourful compared to your average wheat beer. More like a saison, with some hay notes and bitterness. Golden pour with ok head. Light bitter end. Can.

Roast and licorice. Coffee. Black pour with pretty good head and lacing. Bitter end. Nice black IPA. These things seem rare these days. Can.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber gold with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Aroma of pale malt, grapefruit, pineapple and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of pale malt, grapefruit, mango and piney hops in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average to soft carbonation. Not as good as Longshadows, but still solid.
