On tap at Coulee Brew Co. Pours an unclear dark brown with a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, clove and a hint of citrus. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, clove and banana with a mildly tart citrus finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

Slight haze, amber colour. Not much head. Has a minty, sage aroma. With a hint of crystal malt sweetness. Light bitterness up front, gives way to sweetness. There is again the minty sweetness in the finish. Balanced, restrained example.

Can - Tons of tart lemon and hay. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Lots of lemon notes, slight tartness and a touch of funk. Nice and refreshing.

Tasting at Josh’s, growler
Hazy amber color, a bit dull. A bit earthy, manure, dank, hay. Lean, smooth, moderately sweet; the malts have also some hay and chamomile touch, toffee; strong bitterness, moderately resiny, a bit piney, lightly minty in the end.
Nice, but tastes like old beer (and I don’t think it’s old).

Growler - Some spicy and earthy hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter up front with some light sweetness and earthy hops. Bitterness dominates without too much hop flavour.

Dark brown, thin head. The aroma has some phenols and light fruity character. Some thin character, with a hit of dark fruit. Burnt, maybe a bit fruity/thin.

Can - Sweet and tart lactic notes, grassy hops and a touch of herbal notes. Cloudy pale yellow with a rich white head. Light, sweet, grassy, tropical fruit and an absurdly clean finish. A little more sourness would have been great, but this is an absolutely fantastic beer on it’s own. I could drink a ton of this.

Bottle - Dark and fruity vinous notes with some oak. Deep dark brown with a small beige head. Sweet, vinous and a bitterness that has some toast. A bit everywhere taste wise, maybe a bit too much and noisy.

Tasting at Matt’s
Dark brown color; the bottle is slowly gushing. Very clumsy Porter, a bit chocolatey, too earthy, yeasty, with some sourness.
Not very good.
