33cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours close to pitch black with a fairly modest, tanned head. Freshly roasted coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malt is dominating. Sweet, smooth and flavourful, but quite balanced and certainly enjoyable. Delicious sipper!

Can, very small creamy brown head, opaque extremely deep brown colour, aroma of medium roasted coffee, cocoa, chocolate, dark bread and an earthy hint with a bit of alcohol spiraling. Very sweet but not overbearing, dried fruits, coffee and chocolate with a hint of ash and some alcohol on the back but not overpowering. Highly enjoyable and really well made.

Bottled 330ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, small brown head, spices, alcohol and light barrel in the nose. Roasted malt, spices, alcohol, notes of barrel and touch of bourbon with some cinnamon in the finish.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Fergus. Opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived tan head. Airy and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, rich dark chocolate, but sweet. A mild alcohol spice, modest nuts. Light and semi dry finish. Not Pohjalas best for me.

Black topped with a tan cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is chocolate, roast malts, brown sugar coating, nutty twang, toffee.
Taste comprises chocolate shavings, charr, molasses, booze, hazelnut.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a mellow rising boost.
Not bad.

Canned 330ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb. Hazy orange coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, tangerine and light grapefruit in the nose. Citrusy, oaty, tangerine and light grapefruit with grassy notes. Rather bitter finish. Not bad.
